OFF LINE FOR AWHILE

AT THE FISH MARKET, BUSAN, SOUTH KOREA, 2008

When I was in Korea several years ago, I took the bullet train to Busan (Pusan). I met a young Korean service man on the train. He was fluent in English, and we decided to go to the huge fish market in Busan for sashimi. The lady in the photograph with me was the fish vendor we picked. She kept live fish, and my new friend picked out two for our meal. The fish were butchered on the spot, and we went upstairs to feast.

I am busy dealing with some family issues, and will remaing off line for several more days.
